You can find us in Shahdra, down Gali number 11 in Ashok Nagar. It’s one of those narrow streets in Delhi where you have to be careful how you drive. Our office is at D/730/41. It’s a humble spot, nothing like the big glass buildings you see in Noida or Gurgaon. We’ve been in the construction business for some time now. It’s a lot of sweat and dealing with the Delhi weather, which is never quite right. Either it’s too hot or it’s raining too much. We don’t have a fancy board of directors. It’s just us, some reliable foremen, and a lot of grit. We focus on getting the structures built. There’s always someone coming by the office to ask for a job or a quote, and the phone doesn't seem to stop ringing. We keep our records in big ledgers and try to stay organized, though some days it’s a bit of a mess. Shahdra is a crowded place, but it’s where we have our roots. There are little shops all along Gali number 11, and we know most of the people who run them. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just look at the site, get the materials, and start building. It’s not always pretty, and there are always problems to solve, but that’s just part of construction. We’re just a local crew doing what we know. Most evenings we just sit by the door and watch the traffic go by.
