You’ll find Sharda Containers over in the Patparganj Industrial Area at 363 F.I.E. It’s a very busy part of East Delhi. The whole area is full of factories and big warehouses, and our place fits right in with the rest of them. We make containers of all sorts. It’s loud work, it’s often quite dusty, and it’s what we show up to do every single day. The building is a standard industrial structure without any bells or whistles. We don't even have a fancy sign out front, just the house number painted on the wall. Inside, the heavy machines take up most of the floor space. We have a small partitioned office area where we deal with the bills and the phone calls. It gets incredibly hot in the peak of summer, but we’re used to it by now. Most of our workers have been with us for a long time and they know exactly what needs to be done. We don't go in for big meetings or long speeches about the future. We just look at the production schedule and get to work on the metal. Sometimes the raw material delivery is late because of some strike or traffic, and we have to scramble to catch up. That’s just how it goes in this business. We don't claim to be the biggest in Delhi. We just make sure the containers are built right and sent out on time. It's practical work.
