Seoul Chemical Research Laboratory Co. Ltd.

Our lab, Seoul Chemical Research Laboratory Co. Ltd., is based in Patparganj at Flat No.311, Block C-2, Milan Vihar. It is inside the Indra Prastha Extension which is mostly a residential area. Because we are in a flat, it doesn't look like a typical laboratory from the outside. Inside, we have converted the rooms to hold our testing equipment and storage for our chemical samples. It is a quiet environment which is good because the work we do requires a lot of concentration and record-keeping. We don't have a large staff, just a few of us who have been working together for quite a while. Most of our day is spent looking at results or preparing new tests. We keep a lot of notebooks filled with handwritten data. The kitchen in the flat serves as our break room where we make coffee and eat our sandwiches. We don't get many visitors here because we aren't a retail shop. Sometimes the delivery drivers get a bit lost trying to find the right block in Milan Vihar, so we have to go down and meet them at the gate. The lighting inside isn't the best, so we have added several desk lamps to help us see what we are doing. It's a bit of a squeeze with all the equipment, but we have managed to make it work for our needs over the years. We just keep to ourselves and focus on the research.
