We've been at this spot in Pocket A, Ur Vihar for a while now. It’s a busy part of Delhi, right in Phase II. Mostly, our days are filled with paperwork and phone calls. The office isn't anything fancy, just some desks and old computers. Sometimes the electricity goes out in the afternoons, so we sit outside for a bit. There’s a tea stall just around the corner that makes a decent cup of chai. It’s what keeps most of us going through the afternoon slump. We handle a lot of tile-related work here, though mostly it’s just the admin side of things. People come in and out, asking for samples or checking on orders. The traffic outside is always loud. You can hear the horns all day long from the main road. We keep the windows shut to block out the dust, but it still finds its way in somehow. Our small team knows everyone in the building. It’s a tight space, but we manage. Most of us take the metro or a bus to get here. It takes a long time for some, especially during the monsoon when the roads get flooded near the entrance. We just do our jobs and go home. There isn't much more to say about it. We have some shelves with binders and a small water cooler. It’s just a normal place where people work hard and try to get things done before the day ends.
