It’s on the second floor, so you have to head up the stairs when you arrive. Shakarpur is a really busy part of the city, with lots of traffic and people moving between the different blocks. It’s one of those places where there’s always something happening right outside the window. Our office is a straightforward space. It’s not very big, but it’s got enough room for our desks and the equipment we need to run our exim business. We spend a lot of time on the computer and talking to people on the phone. The Veer Savarkar Block is full of other small offices and shops, so there’s a real sense of being in the middle of a commercial hub. It can get a bit dusty and noisy sometimes, but that’s just part of working in East Delhi.
