Saw The Way Foundation

We are up on the third floor at Wa-86 in Shakarpur. It’s one of those buildings where the stairs are narrow, so you have to be careful when you’re carrying things up. The Saw The Way Foundation is our name. We are in a very busy part of Delhi where everything is always moving. The office is just a couple of rooms. It’s a bit tight when we have visitors, but we make it work. We have some old desks and chairs that we’ve had since we started. Most of the time, we are just working through lists or talking on the phone. It gets quite hot in the afternoons because we are on the top floor, but the fan helps a little. We don't have any big mission statements or fancy goals written on the walls. We just come in and do what needs to be done for the day. Shakarpur is a loud place with lots of markets and shops, so there is always a lot of energy outside. Inside, we just try to keep things organized. It’s a bit messy with all the files and the occasional tea spill on a desk. We are just regular people trying to run a foundation without making too much of a fuss. It’s basic, simple, and we like it that way. Sometimes the building smells like the food from the shops downstairs, which makes us hungry. We don't have a lot of space for storage, so things are piled up.
