We are right in the middle of the Shakarpur Main Market at unit G-1. If you’ve ever been to the market, you know how loud and crowded it can get with all the shops and people walking by. Our clinic is just a small part of that busy atmosphere. We handle homeopathy and Reiki here, which is a bit different from the other shops selling clothes or food nearby. The space is quite small, so we have to be careful about how we use it. We’ve got some chairs for waiting and a small area where we talk to people about what’s bothering them. It’s usually pretty bright inside because of the lights we have to keep on, since the market buildings are so close together. We don't have any big signs or flashy lights out front, just a simple door that lets people in from the street. You can hear the vendors calling out their prices from inside the clinic, which is just part of being in Shakarpur. It’s an old-fashioned way of running a clinic, I suppose. We don't use much technology, mostly just our books and the little bottles for the homeopathy. It gets a bit dusty with all the traffic outside, so we’re always wiping down the counters. It’s just a simple, honest place where we spend our days trying to help people feel a bit better using the methods we know.
