We are Sadak2Home Foundation. Our office is at D-8, Kh No. 63, right in Laxmi Nagar. East Delhi is famous for how crowded Laxmi Nagar can get. It’s always full of people and shops. Our spot is a bit tucked away, which we actually like. Operating out of this room has been our routine for a bit. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular office for work. 110092 is a busy pin code. There’s always something happening outside the window. This started because we saw things that needed doing. Our team is small. High-tech equipment isn't here. Just some old computers and a lot of files. Most days are spent trying to help out where we can. Traffic in Laxmi Nagar makes it hard to get around sometimes, but we manage. Being a huge organization isn't the goal. We just want to do our bit. People stop by sometimes just to say hello. It has a very local feel. We know all the shopkeepers nearby. Space and time are shared. It's simple work but it keeps us busy. Walls are mostly bare because we don't have money for decorations. It’s where we work and we’re used to it. Laxmi Nagar is always full of surprises. One day it's a broken pipe and the next it's a festival block. We just adapt. Our office is ours. A small kettle makes our coffee and that’s about it. Staying local and keeping things real is important to us.
