Our office is located at Number 237 in the F.I.E. Industrial Area of Patparganj. S. K. Jain & Bros. Helmet (I) Pvt. Ltd. has been in the helmet business for quite a long time. It’s a family-run sort of thing, even though we are a private limited company now. The office is usually stacked with boxes of helmets ready to be shipped out. We spend our days dealing with suppliers for the plastic shells and the foam padding. It's a lot of logistical work, making sure everything arrives on time so we can keep the production going. The Patparganj area is always buzzing with activity, so there is never a quiet moment. We have a small team here in the office. It isn’t the most modern place; we still have some old filing cabinets and a lot of paper records. We take safety seriously because that is what our product is for. We don't do much fancy talking about it, though. We just make sure the straps are strong and the shells don't crack. The market nearby is where we usually go to grab a quick bite when things get too hectic in the office. Some days are slow and we just sit around talking about the local news, and other days we can barely keep up with the phone calls. We’ve seen the industry change over the years, but we just keep doing our thing.
