Rozy Socialcare Foundation

Rozy Socialcare Foundation is based over in Kondli, specifically at D- 44 H in the Harijan Basti area. It is a local neighborhood in East Delhi where almost everyone knows their neighbors. Our office is just a simple, humble place right in the middle of the basti. We do not have any big glass windows or those fancy neon signs you see in other parts of the city. It is just a plain door with our name written on it. We spend most of our working hours dealing with social care issues right here on the ground. The streets in Kondli can be quite narrow and crowded, so we usually just walk or use our old scooters to get around the area. Inside the office space, it is mostly just metal shelves filled with records and a few wooden chairs for our visitors. We have been here for some time now and have become a small part of the daily life in this neighborhood. We are not some big international organization from far away; we are right here where the actual work is needed. It gets pretty noisy during the day with all the neighborhood sounds, but we have grown used to it. We talk to people, listen to what they have to say, and see what the foundation can actually do to help. It is not always easy work, and some days are much slower than others. We all end up doing a bit of everything.
