Retired Recently

It has only been a short while since I stopped working and moved back into my place at E-84 in Preet Vihar full time. Transitioning to this new pace of life is a bit strange because I am used to being busy from morning until night. Now I find myself with a lot of hours to fill. I spend my time fixing up the house and getting to know my neighbors again. Delhi-110092 is a lively area and there is always something going on just outside my door. I don't have a plan for a new career or a big project. I am just taking things as they come. Some days I just sit on the porch and watch the cars go by. Other days I go to the local market and spend way too much time picking out vegetables. My house is a work in progress because I am finally getting around to all the repairs I put off for years. It feels good to work with my hands instead of just typing on a computer. I am learning how to relax which is harder than I thought it would be. I don't want to do anything corporate ever again. Simple living is my goal now and I am slowly getting the hang of it. My gate is usually closed but if you knock I am usually around to say hello and have a quick chat about nothing in particular.
