Rajwarah Jewellers Pvt. Ltd. is located at 4A on the first floor in Shahpur Jat. If you know the area near Asian Village, you know it is full of narrow lanes and a lot of creative energy. We are tucked away on that first floor, so you have to look for the sign and head up the stairs. It is not like a big mall showroom; it feels more like a workshop where things actually get made. There are small benches for the artisans and plenty of light for looking at the fine details of the jewelry. Shahpur Jat has changed a lot over the years, becoming a hub for designers, but we just stay focused on our pieces. There is often a lot of talk about carats, settings, and the polish of the gold. The room isn't overly large, so it can get a bit crowded when we have a few people in at once. We handle a lot of delicate things, so everyone moves a bit more carefully here than they might outside on the street. Outside, you can hear the sounds of the village turned upscale market—the scooters, the shouting, and the occasional construction. Inside, it is a bit more quiet, except for the tiny sounds of metal being worked. We just take it one day at a time, making sure each piece is handled properly before it leaves the shop.
