Rai Automotive Systems

Rai Automotive Systems is based at number 32 in the Patparganj Functional Industrial Estate. It’s a busy area with a lot of trucks and vans coming through all day. Our space is pretty functional, just like the name of the estate says. We have some heavy equipment and a lot of metal components lying around. It isn't a place for people who like to stay clean. We are usually covered in some kind of dust or oil by noon. The building itself is sturdy but it’s definitely not new. We’ve had to fix the roof a couple of times. Inside, we have a small area for the desk work and the rest is for the actual business. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy emails. It’s just us answering the phone when it rings. Sometimes it’s quiet, and other times three people are calling at once. We just handle it as it comes. The neighborhood is mostly other workshops and factories. We’ve been here long enough that we know the guys next door. We share tools sometimes or help each other out with local news. It’s a plain way to earn a living, but it works for us. We aren't interested in being the biggest, just staying steady. It gets dark early in the winter but we stay until the job is done. The industrial estate has its own rhythm.
