Prime Tools & Gauges Co.

We set up Prime Tools & Gauges Co. right here in New Layal Pur Colony at number 24. It’s a residential-feeling area but we have our workspace tucked in. It’s been our home base for quite some time. Mostly, we deal with measuring instruments and small tools. Everything has to be quite exact, so it is a lot of looking through magnifying glasses and using calipers. The workshop isn't huge, but it has everything we need to check the gauges that come through. We keep the windows open when the weather is nice, otherwise, it gets a bit stuffy with all the oil and metal around. The neighbors know us well by now. We aren't some big factory on the edge of town, just a local shop where we take our time to get the numbers right. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time finding the street, but we usually just meet them at the corner. It's a simple life. We start early in the morning and try to clear the bench by the time we close up. There’s no big marketing team here, just a couple of us who know how to use the equipment and keep things running. It’s steady work and we like being part of the colony. We aren't looking to change much about how we operate because this way of doing things has served us just fine for years. We just keep our heads down and focus on the bench.
