Preeti Painting & Gift Shop

Preeti Painting & Gift Shop is found at 284 in the North School Block of Mandawali. It is a local neighborhood shop and we have a mix of art things and gift items. The place is often a bit messy because we have paints and brushes and canvases sitting around along with the regular gift stock. We think it gives the shop some character though. Mandawali is a crowded area and our shop is on a street where children walk to school every day. We get a lot of kids coming in for school supplies or small toys. We also have some paintings that we have done ourselves or collected over time. The walls are pretty much covered from top to bottom. It is a small room and we have a wooden counter where we do all our work. Sometimes we are busy helping someone choose a gift and other times we are just organizing the tubes of paint. We don't have a fancy display window or anything like that. People just see the sign and come in. We have been at 284 North School Block for several years and the locals know us by name. It is a friendly place and we enjoy being part of the community here. We just keep things simple and focus on our painting and selling our gifts to whoever stops by during the day. It is just a regular life for us.
