Preet Tyres

We’ve been here at shop number 446/3 A in Jheel Khurenja for quite some time now. It’s right near Gurudwara Road, so people usually find us easily if they know the area. Preet Tyres is mostly just a busy spot where we handle wheels and rubber all day long. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded with stacks of tires leaning against the walls, but that’s just how it goes when you’re working. We spend most of our hours checking air pressure or swapping out old worn-down tires for new ones when the tread gets too thin. It’s dirty work, our hands are usually black from the rubber by noon, but it’s what we do. The traffic on the road outside can be pretty loud, especially in the afternoons. Most of the people who stop by are locals from around the neighborhood or folks just passing through who noticed a nail in their tire. We don’t have any fancy waiting room or anything like that. You usually just stand by the side while we get the jack out and start working on the bolts. It’s a straightforward setup. We keep the tools where we can find them, though sometimes things get misplaced during a rush. If you’re coming from the Gurudwara side, just look for the shop with the tires piled up out front. We’re usually here from morning until late evening, just keeping things moving for the drivers around Jheel Khurenja. It isn't a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy.
