We are over at 160 Chitra Vihar, which is right off Vikas Marg in Lakshmi Nagar. The traffic on Vikas Marg is always a nightmare, so we usually hear the constant sound of cars and buses from the office. It’s a busy area for business. We do impex work, so we are constantly dealing with customs papers and shipping details. The office is usually filled with the sound of printers going. It’s not a very big space but we make it work. We have been in Lakshmi Nagar for a long time and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. There are always people coming in and out with different documents. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to wait around to send emails, which is annoying. We don’t really do anything fancy here. It’s mostly just sitting at desks and making sure the numbers match up on the invoices. The stairs up to the office are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful. We try to keep things moving as fast as we can, but international trade always has its own set of delays. Most of our day is spent on the phone or checking the mail. It is a lot of routine stuff that might seem boring to some people, but it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We just try to keep the business running and make sure the packages get where they are supposed to go.
