Pallav Frictions

We run Pallav Frictions from a place at 45, Shanti Vihar. It is a quiet enough area compared to the main roads, which is nice for a change. We handle friction materials here, so things can get a bit greasy and metallic. It is a small operation, mostly just a few of us making sure everything is measured right and the machines are tuned. We do not have a big reception area or anything. If you come by, you will probably find someone in overalls working on a component. We started this because we knew the trade and wanted to do it our way. Most of our tools have been with us since the start. They are not the newest, but we know how to use them. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought, so we stay late to finish it. We do not go for fancy packaging or big marketing slogans. We just make sure the parts are solid. The floor is concrete and often has a bit of dust, but that is a workshop for you. We keep a pot of tea going most of the day. Dealing with local clients is what we do mostly. They drop by, we talk about what they need, and we get to work. It is a simple way of doing things, really. No layers of management, just us and the work on the bench. Sometimes the supply of raw materials is slow, but we deal with it as it comes. It is just a regular local shop.
