We have been running the courier shop here at Jagat Puri for a while now. It is tucked away in Anarkali Garden at A-55. Neeraj Wadhwa is the one who usually looks after things. Most days it is just about getting boxes where they need to go without any fuss. People come in with all sorts of parcels, some big, some small. We handle the paperwork and get the cargo moving. Delhi traffic can be a real pain, so we try to get everything sorted as early as we can in the morning. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it is quiet enough to have a proper cup of tea. We are not doing anything fancy here. It is just a regular cargo office with a lot of tape and cardboard boxes lying around. If you walk past the garden area, you will find us easily enough. We know the neighbors and they know us. Most of the people working here live nearby, so we are part of the local scene. We do not have a big shiny lobby or anything like that. It is just a functional space where work gets done. Sometimes the printers act up or the internet goes slow, but we manage. We just focus on the daily tasks and making sure the trucks get loaded properly before they head out. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday every week.
