Om Confectionery

We are over in Shastri Nagar on the Main Road, specifically at B 1117. Om Confectionery isn't a big place, just a regular shop where we sell snacks and sweets to the people living nearby. You can usually see us from the street because of the glass jars we keep on the counter. We’ve got a mix of things on the shelves, from biscuits to small packets of namkeen. The shop stays open late because that is when most people come home from work and want to pick something up for their kids. It gets a bit hectic in the evenings, but the mornings are usually quiet enough for us to restock the shelves. My cousin helps me out during the weekends when it gets extra busy. The building itself is older, and the sign out front has faded a bit over the years. We don't bother much with making things look perfect. As long as the stock is fresh and the customers are happy, we don't worry about the rest. Sometimes the fridge makes a loud humming noise that we should probably get fixed, but it still keeps the drinks cold. It’s a simple life running a shop like this in Shastri Nagar. We know the names of half the kids who come in here for candy.
