Nihal Gautam Foundation

We have been operating out of Basti Kondli for a while now. Our office is tucked away at F-158 H, which some locals still know by the old F-14 number. It’s a busy part of Vasundhra Enclave here in East Delhi. We started the Nihal Gautam Foundation because we saw a lot of things in the neighborhood that needed a bit of attention. It’s not a big fancy operation. Most days, it’s just us trying to figure out how to be useful to the people living around here. The streets get crowded around KH-217, but it’s home. We don't have a big corporate board or anything like that. It is mostly just neighbors helping neighbors when something comes up. If you are walking around the 110096 area, you might have passed by our door without noticing. We try to keep things quiet and just do what needs doing. Sometimes the work is slow, and sometimes we have more hands helping than others. We aren't trying to change the whole world, just our small corner of East Delhi. It can be a bit chaotic with the traffic and the noise, but that is just how life is in the colony. We wanted a place where people could just come in if they had a problem. It’s a bit cramped inside with all the papers and chairs, but we make it work. We’re just regular people from the community trying to keep things moving forward.
