Nidhivan Dairy

Over here at Mayur Vihar Phase 1 Extension, our mornings start well before the sun comes up. Nidhivan Dairy isn't a massive factory or anything like that. It's mostly just us getting the milk ready and making sure the containers are clean. You can hear the cans clinking early in the morning when the neighborhood is still quiet. We deal with fresh milk, curd, and sometimes paneer when there is a demand for it. It gets pretty crowded in our small space during the peak hours. People from the nearby apartments usually stop by on their way back from a walk. It’s a lot of heavy lifting, carrying crates in and out. The floors are usually a bit wet from all the washing we do to keep things tidy. We don't spend money on big signs or bright lights. Most people know us just because we’ve been in Mayur Vihar for a bit. Sometimes the delivery truck is late because of the traffic near the extension, and we just have to wait it out. It's simple work but it has to be done every single day, no matter the weather. We don't take many holidays because people need their milk every morning. It's a basic routine that keeps the neighborhood fed. We just focus on keeping the stock fresh and the customers happy when they walk through the door. Even the stray cat outside knows when we open for the day.
