You can find us in Laxmi Nagar, specifically in Garhwali Mohalla. Our office is located at House Number H-54A in Gali Number 2. It is a very local setup, run out of a residential space owned by S. Sarpir Singh. Laxmi Nagar is known for being crowded and busy, and our street is no different. We are a branch of the National Hydroelectric Power Corporation, but it feels more like a small local business because of where we are located. There are no big banners or corporate logos on the street. We just do our work from this house. It is mostly about managing local staff and keeping track of project details for the hydro plants. The neighbors know us as the people who work on the power projects. It’s a noisy area with lots of shops and houses packed together, but we manage to stay focused on the tasks. Sometimes the mail gets mixed up because the alleys are so narrow, but we figured it out over time. We don't have a fancy waiting room. If you come by, you’ll probably just see us sitting around a table with a bunch of reports. It is a very down-to-earth way to run a government corporation office. We just focus on the day-to-day operations and making sure the paperwork is in order. It’s not fancy, but it works for us and the work we have to get through every week. Someone is usually here if you need to drop something off.
