Our office is situated on the first floor of Shiv Arcade, which is at 42 Acharya Niketan. It’s right in Mayur Vihar, Phase-I. It is a busy little hub with plenty of shops and other offices around. We’ve been operating out of this unit for a while. The space is filled with desks, computers, and a lot of files that probably need better organizing. We handle international trade matters, so there is always some paperwork to deal with or a phone call to make to someone far away. It’s a lot of sitting and coordinating things. The arcade can get quite noisy in the afternoons when everyone is out shopping or running errands. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background to drown out some of the street noise. The stairs up to the first floor are usually busy with people going to the other units. We’ve got a small kettle for making tea, which gets used a lot throughout the day. It’s not a very fancy setup, just a practical place where we can get our work done. We try to keep things moving along, even when the paperwork starts to pile up. Most of our neighbors in the building are friendly enough. We just go about our business and try to keep things simple. It’s a regular office life in a busy part of Delhi. We just show up and do what needs doing every day without much fuss.
