We are over in East Delhi at the Abhimanyu Apartment, which is part of the Jansewak CGHS. Our specific unit is AM-302/65. Vasundhra Enclave is a pretty established area, and the apartment complex has been here for quite some years. It’s a gated community, so it feels a bit different from working in a standalone shop or a mall. My Tent Of Support Foundation is basically run out of this apartment. It’s got that lived-in feel because it is an apartment, after all. There’s a bit of a walk from the main gate to our block, but it’s a nice enough walk with some trees and parked cars along the way. The unit itself isn't huge, but it fits our computers and the few chairs we have for when someone stops by. We’ve got the typical apartment layout with a small balcony that looks out over the inner courtyard. It’s usually quiet here, except for the occasional sound of someone’s TV or people talking in the common areas. The security at the front gate is pretty strict about visitors, so we always have to tell people to sign in. It’s a very steady, predictable place to work from. We aren’t in a big glass building in the middle of a business park. We are just here in a residential block, doing what we need to do. It’s a very grounded way to run things and it suits us just fine.
