Municipal Corporation Of Delhi

Our small spot here at 120A Pocket Dilshad Garden stays pretty busy most mornings. Being part of the Municipal Corporation Of Delhi means there is never really a quiet day. The office is right in the middle of the residential pocket, so we see neighbors coming and going all the time. Delhi-110095 is a crowded area, and you can always hear the scooters and cars outside. Inside, it is just us with our registers and the old wooden desks that have seen better years. We spend a lot of time helping people fill out forms or explaining why a certain document is needed for their application. It gets hot in the summer, and the cooler hums in the corner while we work through the stacks of files. There is no fancy lobby or reception desk, just a couple of chairs for people to wait their turn. We usually bring lunch from home and eat together while talking about the local news or the weather. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to step outside for some air and wait for it to return. It is honest work, even if the files seem to pile up faster than we can clear them. Living and working in this part of Delhi has its own rhythm. People are usually in a hurry, so we try to get things done without too much fuss. It is just a regular local office doing what needs doing for the garden area and the people living there.
