Military Hospital

The Military Hospital is actually located inside the Eastend Apartments complex, at 8/904 in Mayur Vihar Phase 1 Extension. It is quite close to the New Ashok Nagar Metro Station, so it’s easy to get to if you’re coming from that side. Being inside an apartment building makes it feel a bit different from those big, sprawling hospital campuses. It’s more of a local, accessible space for the people living in the apartments and the nearby New Ashok Nagar area. You have to go through the apartment security and find the right block. Our unit is 8/904. It’s a quiet place, mostly away from the main road noise. I spend my day managing the schedule and seeing people who walk over from the metro. The rooms are set up for medical use, but they still have that residential feel to them. We don't have a giant staff or a cafeteria. It’s just a small team of us working in the rooms we have. Sometimes the hallways are a bit narrow when we are moving things around, but we've gotten used to the layout. People like coming here because it doesn't feel intimidating. It’s just like visiting a neighbor who happens to be a doctor. We keep things simple and focus on the health of the folks in the Eastend community. It’s a steady, quiet kind of work we do here every day.
