Maya Madhusewa Foundation

We are over here at New Ashok Nagar, specifically in the B-88 area. It's a ground floor spot, which makes it easy for folks to just drop in when they need something. Maya Madhusewa Foundation started because we saw things in the neighborhood that needed doing. It isn't fancy. We have some desks, a few chairs, and usually someone is drinking tea while sorting through paperwork. New Ashok Nagar is a crowded place, lots of narrow lanes and people rushing to the metro, so we try to be a bit of a quiet corner. We spend most of our time talking to neighbors and trying to figure out how to help with local issues. Sometimes it’s just about giving advice, other times it’s more hands-on. People know where to find us since we're right at B-199. It gets a bit dusty in the afternoons with the traffic nearby, but that’s just how it is here. We don’t have a big team or a lot of money, just a few of us who grew up around here and want to see things get a bit better. You might see us out on the street more than in the office. We’ve been at this address for a while now and most of the shops nearby know us. It’s a simple setup. We don't do big speeches or anything like that, just day-to-day work. If you're walking past New Ashok Nagar, you'll probably spot our sign near the ground floor entrance.
