We are situated on the top floor over in Laxmi Nagar which gives us a decent view of the main road from Gali No 2. East Guru Angad Nagar is a packed neighborhood and being up at the top means we get a little bit of a breeze if the windows are open. The stairs are quite a climb since it is the 48th building and we are right at the peak. Our office space is mostly open with desks pushed against the walls to make room for moving around. We do advertising work here and there is usually a lot of chatter between us while we figure out different layouts. The nearby main road is always loud with horns and buses but you get used to it after the first few days. We keep a kettle in the corner for making coffee and there is usually a stack of newspapers somewhere that nobody has finished reading. It is a simple place to work and it suits us fine. We don't have any big signs or fancy lighting in the hallway. It is just an ordinary office in East Delhi where we spend our mornings and afternoons. The furniture is a bit mismatched because we added pieces as we grew over the years. We just focus on getting the tasks done and heading home before the traffic gets too bad in the evening. It’s a busy life in this part of the city but we like having our own spot.
