Our office is tucked away in the Ganesh Nagar Complex at D 132 A. If you know New Delhi, you know how busy these spots get. Macrock Adv Pvtltd has been around this block for some time. It is not one of those shiny corporate offices you see in Gurgaon. We have some posters on the walls and a lot of old samples from previous jobs lying around in the corners. The stairs up to the office are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful if you are carrying anything big. Most days start with someone trying to fix the coffee machine that has a mind of its own. We spend a lot of time on the phones or looking at screens. Outside, the street is always full of rickshaws and people heading to the metro. The noise from the market nearby leaks in sometimes, but we are used to it by now. It feels like home because most of the staff have been coming here for years. We don't really do the whole formal suit and tie thing. Usually, it is just jeans and a shirt. The desk chairs have seen better days, but they are comfortable enough for a long shift. We just get on with the advertising work and try to stay ahead of the deadlines without making too much of a fuss about it. It’s just how we do things here in Delhi 110092.
