Laxmi Batteries

Laxmi Batteries is easy to find if you are driving down the Main Road 3106 in Kanti Nagar. We are right by Amar Dhaam, which most people in the neighborhood use as a landmark. The shop is usually full of heavy lead-acid batteries and the smell of grease. It is not the cleanest place because we are constantly moving things around and dealing with old parts. Since we are on the main road, the dust just comes right in through the front door, no matter how much we sweep. Most of our time is spent testing batteries or helping someone whose car won't start in the morning. It’s a lot of heavy lifting, so we’re usually pretty tired by the end of the day. There is a small bench out front where we sit when things are quiet, watching the rickshaws go by on Main Road 3106. Kanti Nagar is a busy area and there’s always someone stopping by to ask a question or check a price. We don’t have a fancy showroom with bright lights. It is just a practical shop for people who need their power fixed. Sometimes the rain leaks in a bit near the back, but we just move the stock and keep going. We've been at this location for years and the locals know where to find us when their inverter stops working. It is just a basic, honest business run by people who know their way around a battery.
