Laasa Resorts Private Limited

Our office is over at Plot No 3, on the second floor in Gagan Vihar. It’s right near the Karkardooma Flyover in East Delhi. You can hear the cars going over the flyover all day long, which becomes like background music after a while. Laasa Resorts Private Limited is run from here. It’s a simple setup. We have a few rooms where we handle all the resort planning and guest communications. It’s not a big corporate headquarters. We have some plants that we sometimes forget to water and a kitchen that always smells like coffee. Working in East Delhi-110051 means we are right in the thick of things. The streets are narrow and it can get quite dusty. We spend our hours talking to vendors or trying to sort out maintenance issues for the resorts. It is a lot of logistics and talking on the phone until your ear hurts. We started this because we liked the hospitality world, but the reality is a lot of paperwork. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit there talking until it comes back on. We don't have any grand speeches about what we do. We just make sure the resorts are running and the guests are happy enough. It is honest work and we are just regular people doing it every day. The flyover always reminds us of how much people are traveling, which is what keeps us in business.
