L & T Ecc Division

Our spot is in Flat No. 63 at Vshal Apartment in Vashundhara Enclave. It’s in the New Kondali area of New Delhi. It is basically an apartment that we turned into an office for the L & T Ecc Division. It’s got a kitchen and a balcony, but we mostly use those for storing extra files or taking a quick breath of air. The traffic in Delhi is always a nightmare, so most of us try to get in early. It’s a tight squeeze with all the computers and the drafting tables we have pushed against the walls. We handle a lot of the local planning and permits from this flat. It’s nice because it feels a bit more private than a big office block. We know the security guards at the gate and the neighbors who live in the other apartments. Sometimes the lift breaks down and we have to take the stairs, which is a bit of a workout. We don't have any big posters on the walls, just some calendars and project timelines taped up. It’s a working office, not a showroom. We keep the AC running in the summer because the Delhi heat is no joke. It’s just a bunch of us doing our jobs and trying to keep the projects on track. We stay busy and don't spend much time on anything that isn't work.
