Kolkata Port Trust (Retd)

We are based out of Mayur Vihar Phase 3 now. It’s Pocket A3, 151-D if you are looking for the exact door. This is for the retired folks from the Port Trust who ended up here in Delhi. It's a bit different from the busy docks in Kolkata, that's for sure. The pace is slower here. We spend a lot of time checking on pensions and making sure everyone is doing okay. It’s more of a community thing than a big business. We aren't some fancy corporate headquarters. It’s just a small space where we manage things for the former workers. Sometimes it’s quiet and other days the phone rings a lot with people asking about their papers. 110096 is our home now. We have some chairs and a desk and a lot of old stories. It’s nice to have a place where people who used to work together can still find help. We don’t have a big staff or anything like that. It's just a few of us keeping track of the records. Delhi can be loud and busy, but our little corner in Mayur Vihar stays pretty calm. We mostly deal with mail and some occasional visits. It’s practical work. No one is wearing suits here. We just want to make sure the retired life is handled right for everyone who spent their years at the port. It works for us.
