We are over at K 11 on the ground floor in Old Gobind Pura, which is part of Krishna Nagar. It’s in East Delhi, a place where the streets are narrow and you have to be careful when you're driving. Our shop is right there on the ground level, making it easy for locals to just walk in. The 110051 area has a lot of energy. We’ve been here for a while and we know the rhythms of the street. It’s a simple shop with basic counters and some old chairs. We aren't into those modern designs that look like a museum. We want people to feel okay sitting down and chatting with us. A lot of our time is spent looking at jewelry designs and talking to the craftsmen. It’s a hands-on kind of business. We handle the everyday tasks like cleaning the floor and answering the phone ourselves. There isn't a big corporate structure here, just us and a couple of helpers. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just life in Delhi. We try to be helpful when people ask questions, but we don't use any sales talk. We just show them what we have on the shelves. It’s a small, local operation that we take one day at a time. We like being part of the Krishna Nagar community and seeing the same faces every week while we work through the tasks.
