Kanchan & Company

Vikas Marg is a busy place and that is where we have our office for Kanchan & Company. It is not a very big space but we make it work for what we do every day. Most of the time there are files piled up on the desks because things just keep coming in. We open up early when the traffic on the road is just starting to get loud. You can hear the horns and the people shouting outside all day long. It is just the way it is here. We have a couple of chairs for people who come to talk to us about their work. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint but we have been too busy to get around to that. We drink a lot of tea while we work. Someone usually goes out to the stall nearby and brings back a few cups for everyone. It is a simple way of living and working. We do not have fancy computers or anything like that. Just the basic stuff that helps us get through the list of things to do. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and wait or talk until it comes back on. That is just how life goes on Vikas Marg. We have been in this spot for a good while and the neighbors know us by now. It feels right to be part of this street and handle our business here.
