The Gali No. 01 in West Vinod Nagar is where we spend most of our time. It’s a typical Delhi street, narrow and always full of life. Kamal & Associates has been tucked away here at E-66 for a while now. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of employees. It is just a small group of us sitting at desks piled high with papers. Most of the day is spent talking to people who walk in off the street or answering the phone. Since we are in 110092, we get a lot of locals coming in. The office is a bit cramped, especially when we have more than two visitors at once, but it works for what we need. We don't spend money on fancy signs or expensive furniture because that’s not what matters. We just focus on the task at hand. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we sit by the door to get some light and air. It’s not a polished corporate environment, and we like it that way. You can hear the sounds of the neighbors and the traffic while we work. We don't have a mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just come in, do the work for the day, and go home to our families. It’s practical and simple, which is how we prefer to run things here. There is always someone having tea and the atmosphere stays fairly relaxed.
