You can find Kala Ashram Institute Of Classical Dance inside the Nursery Wing of Rishabh Public School. We are located on Mayur Vihar Main Road in Phase I. Being inside a school building means there is always a lot of energy around, especially during the day when the younger kids are there. Our dance space is simple and dedicated to practice. You can usually hear the sound of the bells on the dancers' feet echoing in the hallway. Mayur Vihar is a busy area, and the main road outside is always full of cars and buses, but once you are inside the nursery wing, it feels different. We focus on the classical steps and the rhythm of the music. We don't have any fancy posters or big lights. It is just a wooden floor and a few mirrors. The students come in, change into their dance clothes, and we get to work. It is hard work and everyone gets quite tired, but it is a good kind of tired. We have been operating out of this school location for a bit, and it works well for the families in the area. We aren't trying to be a big commercial academy. We are just a local place for people to learn traditional dance in a straightforward way. It is a daily routine that we all enjoy very much, even on the long days.
