Jha Shankar & Co. is our small outfit based in Delhi. We are located at 8C in the Sancharlok Apartments, right in the 110092 area. It’s an apartment building, so it doesn't feel like a cold office block. We’ve been here for a while now and the neighbors are all used to us being around. Delhi is a fast place but inside the apartments, it’s a bit more relaxed. We have our desks set up and we spend the day going through paperwork and talking to people on the phone. It’s a practical way to run things without having to deal with the high rents of a main street storefront. Most of our work happens right here in these rooms. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay on top of the tasks we have for the week. It’s not a huge company with hundreds of people, just a dedicated group trying to do a good job. You can find us easily if you know the Sancharlok area. We don't have a big receptionist or a lobby. You just come up to 8C and that’s us. It works for the kind of stuff we do. We like the feeling of being in a residential area because it keeps things grounded. It’s just how we decided to set things up years ago and it stuck with us. We don't feel the need to move to a fancy tower because this is where we feel most at home. It’s a simple, honest way to run a business.
