Jay Phutling Sewa Foundation

Jay Phutling Sewa Foundation is located at A-72, Gali No-7, in the A-Block of West Vinod Nagar. We are on the ground floor, right in the Mandawali/Fazalpur area of East Delhi. It’s a typical neighborhood with lots of families and small shops. Our office isn't big or impressive. It’s just a couple of rooms where we do our daily tasks. We don't have any big signs or a corporate setup. It’s just a place where we can gather and work on whatever needs doing. We’ve lived in East Delhi for years, so we know the rhythm of the place. It gets pretty loud outside with vendors shouting and kids playing in the street, but we’ve grown to like it. It feels like we are part of the community. We aren't trying to look like a big corporation or anything. We just focus on the work at hand. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, or we run out of supplies, but we just deal with it and move on. It’s a simple operation run by people who live right here. We don't really follow a corporate handbook. We just try to be helpful to the folks around us. If you’re looking for us, just find Gali Number 7; most people nearby can point you to the right door. We’re just regular people doing our bit without any fancy pretensions.
