Jansamagra Development Foundation

We are on the ground floor of A-123 in Priyadarshni Vihar. It’s a nice enough spot in East Delhi. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for people to just walk in without having to climb any stairs. We don't have many stairs to worry about here. The office isn't very large at all, but it fits us just fine for what we do. There’s a small garden area out front that we try to keep green, though the heat makes it hard. Sometimes the crows make a lot of noise in the trees above. We’ve been working out of this location for a couple of years now. It’s a bit different from those big, shiny offices you see downtown. We know the milkman and the local postman by their names. Everything we do happens right here at these few desks. It can get a bit cluttered with papers and yellow folders lying everywhere. We don't have a big neon sign, just a small, hand-painted one by the door. Priyadarshni Vihar is mostly houses, so the whole area feels very local and friendly. We spend our days answering the phone and writing things down in our notebooks. It's nothing too complicated or stressful. We just focus on the tasks we have for the day. Sometimes the water cooler breaks down, and we have to figure out how to fix it ourselves. It’s just a normal day-to-day life for us here in the city. We like the neighborhood.
