Jangati Policy Reforms Foundation

We are located at Flat No. 7 in the Vandana Apartments over in Patparganj. It’s right on Plot No. 42 in IP Extension, which is a pretty well-known spot if you live in this part of Delhi. The apartment building itself has seen better days, but it works for what we need. Most of the time, our small team is just hunkered down here looking at policy documents and trying to make sense of new regulations. It isn’t very exciting to look at. We have some old wooden desks and a printer that jams way too often. Patparganj is always noisy with traffic, and you can hear the horns from the main road all day long. Sometimes we grab tea from the stall just down the street when the afternoon slump hits. The office is a bit cramped because we have stacks of papers everywhere, but we manage to find what we need eventually. We don't really have a big sign outside or anything fancy like that. People mostly find us by word of mouth or by looking for the apartment number. It’s just a regular group of people doing paperwork and talking about reforms. We try to keep things grounded and practical. The walk from the main gate to Flat No. 7 is short, but the lift is sometimes out of order, so we end up taking the stairs. It keeps us moving, I guess. That is pretty much the daily routine around here.
