If you head over to Vikas Marg Extn in Shakarpur, you’ll find us on the third floor of the Deep Shikha building, specifically in V S Block. Intime Telecom Pvt Ltd has been based here for a while, and being on the third floor gives us a bit of a break from the noise of the traffic and the constant honking below. This part of Delhi is always moving, so there is never a dull moment when you look out the window. We deal with telecom stuff, which mostly means we spend our days making sure connections are working and handling the administrative side of communication services for various clients. It’s a lot of coordination and technical talk on the phone. The office is usually full of wires, routers, and various bits of equipment that we are testing or setting up for the next job. We don't have a big reception desk or any fancy decorations. It's more of a functional space where we can focus on the tasks at hand. Climbing the stairs to the third floor every morning definitely keeps us awake, especially since the elevator is often out of service. We started this because we knew a lot about how phones and networks operate and figured we could make a go of it ourselves. We aren't a massive corporation with thousands of employees. We are just a local team doing our best to keep things running properly. The neighborhood has a lot of energy, and we've grown quite fond of the local food stalls nearby. It’s just a normal office where we do our daily tasks.
