Our place is at C-10 in Gurunanak Pura, right in the Lakshmi Nagar area. It is a busy spot, and finding parking for the delivery vans is always a bit of a challenge every morning. We deal with all sorts of batteries here, so the shelves are pretty heavy and the floor is reinforced concrete. It smells a bit like metal and plastic sometimes, which is just part of the job when you work with power storage. We have a small office section in the front, but most of the action happens in the back where the stock is kept in rows. The guys spend their time loading and unloading crates, checking voltages, and making sure the labels are on straight. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or expensive furniture because we would rather have good equipment for testing. Sometimes the neighborhood kids play in the lane outside, and we have to tell them to be careful of the trucks. It is a very local kind of life here. We get customers from all over the city, but we still feel like a small part of Lakshmi Nagar. Most of our days are spent on the phone or checking the ledger books to see what came in and what went out. It isn't a fast-paced tech startup vibe; it is just a solid, everyday business where we show up, open the shutters, and do the work until it is time to go home.
