Indrambe Foundation

We are over at 367 Aguru Jambeshwar, which isn't always easy to find for people who aren't from around here. The foundation started because we noticed a lot of gaps in how things were being handled locally. It’s a plain building, nothing special to look at, but it works for what we need. We spend most of our mornings sorting through requests and seeing who needs help first. There's always a lot of chatter in the office because we all have different ideas on how to solve things. We drink a lot of coffee and try to stay organized, even though the folders tend to pile up on the floor. It's just a few of us, really. We don't have a big board of directors or anything like that. Just some people who care about the neighborhood and want to see it do better. Sometimes we stay late when there's a big project, but mostly we try to get home for dinner. The street outside can get pretty crowded with traffic, especially in the evenings. We like being part of the local scene. It feels right to be where the action is. We've been here for a bit now and people are starting to recognize the name Indrambe. The front door sticks sometimes when it rains, so you have to give it a good push. We’ve been meaning to fix that but haven't gotten around to it yet. Life is just busy like that.
