Ik Silver

Started at Madhuban near Preet Vihar. It’s a busy part of Delhi. We spend most of our time here at number 1. It gets noisy with the Trans Yamuna traffic, but you get used to it. The shop has been here a while. We aren't a big fancy showroom, just a spot where we get our work done. Most days start with tea from the corner. We handle silver items and such. People from the neighborhood know us. It’s not always organized perfectly, but we know where everything is kept. The winters are cold and the summers are really hot in this part of Delhi, so the fan is always running. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a lot of work. It’s just how things go. We’ve seen the area change quite a bit since we first opened our doors here. New buildings come up, but we stay right here near the main road. If you’re walking by, you might miss us if you aren't looking, because we don’t have those huge neon signs. We just do our business quietly and go home. There isn't much more to say really. We are just a local place trying to keep things moving. The address says 1 Madhuban, and that is exactly where you will find us on most weekdays, sitting among the files and the stock.
