Henx Social Welfare Foundation

We are based at Survey Number 23/1, which is known as Wathman Kothi in the Anand Vihar area. It’s a bit of an older building, but it has a lot of character and serves us well. Henx Social Welfare Foundation has been operating from this spot for some time now. Anand Vihar is a busy hub with the bus terminal and the railway station nearby, so there is always a sense of movement in the air. Our office inside Wathman Kothi is tucked away a little bit, which gives us some peace to focus on our social welfare work. We have a few rooms filled with books, papers, and the usual office supplies. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of our time dealing with local issues and trying to coordinate with other groups in the city. The tea guy comes by twice a day, and those are usually the moments when we sit down and really talk about our plans. We don’t have a flashy sign or anything like that. People mostly hear about us through word of mouth. It feels more natural that way. We just show up every morning, unlock the doors, and see what the day brings. It’s simple work, but it keeps us busy and connected to the people around Anand Vihar. We are just part of the local landscape now.
