Our office is tucked away on the first floor of a building in Shakarpur, right in the School Block area. It is office number F-6, and to be honest, it is a bit cramped when we have a lot of leather samples lying around the desks. We handle a lot of export and import stuff here, mostly dealing with different kinds of leather goods. East Delhi is always crowded, so getting to the office can be a real struggle some days with all the traffic near the Metro station. Inside, you will mostly find us on the phone or checking emails to see where the latest shipments are at the moment. We have piles of leather swatches everywhere and the smell of treated hides is always in the air. It is a small team and we all end up doing a bit of everything, from packing boxes to talking to the transport agents. We don't have a big fancy showroom, just this practical space where we manage the business. Sometimes the lights flicker or the internet goes down for a bit, but that is just how it is in this part of town. We have been at this for a while and we just try to get the leather where it needs to go without too much fuss. It is a lot of paperwork and tracking numbers, but we have got a system that works for us and we stay busy.
