Gupta Oil Store

Gupta Oil Store is located right on the Ghas Mandi Main Road in Gandhi Nagar, at number 214. It’s a busy spot with lots of rickshaws and bikes passing by all day long. We deal with different types of oils and keep the drums stacked in the back. The floor is often a bit slippery, no matter how much we try to clean it, which is just part of working with oil I guess. We’ve been in this building for a long time. It isn't a modern shop with glass windows or anything like that. Instead, it’s more of a functional space where we get the job done. I usually sit at the front counter while the helpers move the containers around. We know most of the shopkeepers on this block, so we often chat during the slow hours in the afternoon. Sometimes the weather gets really hot and the smell of the oil gets quite strong, but you get used to it after a few days. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure the orders are filled correctly. Dealing with the Main Road traffic can be a headache when deliveries arrive, but we make it work somehow. It is just a straightforward local business where we show up every morning and do our work until the sun goes down.
