Our place is over at Jagat Puri in New Delhi, specifically at 109/1 A Chandu Park. If you are looking for us, we are right there with Gur Sahai Johari and Sarvadanand Pillai. It is a local neighborhood setup, not a big industrial park. We have been working out of this spot, focusing on plywood and boards for the nearby houses and shops. The office is simple and tucked away. It’s where we keep our ledgers and take orders from people in the area. We spend a lot of time coordinating deliveries. Traffic in Jagat Puri can be a bit of a mess, so we have to plan our timings carefully. Most of the people who come to see us are looking for materials to fix up their homes. We show them what we have in stock and tell them how long it will take to get more if they need it. There are no big sales pitches here. We just show the wood, check the thickness, and figure out the price. It’s quiet work for the most part, except when the loaders are busy. We’ve lived and worked around here long enough to know most of the faces. It’s a steady routine. We open up in the morning, handle the calls, and make sure the paperwork is sorted before we head home.
